Tele Atlas launches Brunei and Philippines maps

Digital maps and location-based content provider Tele Atlas has
introduced its first maps for Brunei and the Philippines, the company
announced on Tuesday.
The maps for the Philippines offer coverage of nearly 10,000 kilometres
of navigable roads, including fully attributed street network coverage
of Manila, while the Brunei maps cover more than 2,700 kilometres of
roadways and offer complete street network coverage of the country.
In addition Tele Atlas has increased its coverage across Indonesia,
Malaysia and Thailand and the company claims that its maps for the Asia
Pacific region are now the most complete available, with navigable
coverage of 15 countries and territories including more than 6.6
million kilometres of roadways and 8.5 million points of interest.
The new maps are available immediately for all Tele Atlas personal
navigation, wireless, Internet, automotive and enterprise customers
worldwide.
Additional map coverage of the Asia Pacific region is planned to be
introduced by Tele Atlas in 2010.
