TDS breaks ground on Hartland, St. Albans area ARRA stimulus project in Maine(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 05 December 2012 Release date- 04122012 - TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS) says construction is underway on its American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) stimulus project in areas around Hartland and St. Albans, Maine. Once complete, about 600 customers in the area will gain access to TDS' high-speed Internet services. Once the outside work is finished, TDS will complete the inside work. The project is scheduled to be completed and accessible to customers by the end of 2013. Construction on projects near Stetson, Kingfield, and Chesterville, Maine are also now underway. TDS is receiving funding for the project from the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Rural Utilities Service (RUS) as part of the ARRA.
