Tatara Systems's CEO named to CTIA board of directors

Oct 08, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Tatara Systems, a provider of SIP-based femtocell convergence, has announced that EY Snowden, president and CEO of the company, was elected to the 2010 board of directors for CTIA-The Wireless Association.

CTIA-The Wireless Association is an international industry trade group representing all wireless communication sectors including cellular, personal communication services and enhanced specialized mobile radio.

Mr Snowden is rejoining the CTIA board of directors, having served three consecutive terms from 2005 to 2007 as a director and as a member of the executive committee of the CTIA board in his previous executive capacity with Boston Communications Group.

Mr Snowden has led Tatara's transition from a mobile broadband data card convergence solution provider to the industry leader for SIP-based network integration in the high-growth femtocell space.
