Sypris and BlackRidge Technology Form Strategic Alliance

Sypris Electronics LLC, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM: SYPR), announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with BlackRidge Technology, a supplier of Identity Aware (News - Alert) Networking solutions. This strategic relationship will focus on breakthroughs in identity authentication and endpoint authorization solutions for the public and private sectors.

Sypris is a strategic provider of information assurance, cyber security and secure data management solutions to the U.S. Government. The Company is focusing on innovations to further secure networks with advancements such as hardware-based root-of-trust and identity management. Sypris will integrate BlackRidge's patented Transport Access Control (TAC) technology with a new identity authentication system and key management architecture that is targeted for availability in late 2012.

BlackRidge's TAC allows Identity to be communicated and interpreted within the network fabric itself, enabling strong authentication, authorization and Identity-based network policy enforcement. TAC, combined with Sypris' high assurance key management and endpoint authentication technology, will create a secureand robust network defense solution.
