Syniverse to Demonstrate Value of Intelligent Mobile Experience Delivery at Mobile World Congress

Syniverse today announced an array of activities at Mobile World Congress 2015, including the unveiling of new data that details important mobile operator revenue opportunities; an appearance by Syniverse's (News - Alert) chief marketing officer in a keynote session; the deployment of an advanced Wi-Fi network that enables automatic connection at the Mobile World Congress venue; and more. The activities underscore Syniverse's focus on helping mobile service providers and enterprises enable simple, interoperable mobile experiences, anytime, anywhere, and continue to build on the company's previous appearances at Mobile World Congress (News - Alert).

Syniverse's presence at the conference will be highlighted by the announcement of the results of a new study that identifies crucial areas of revenue opportunity and risk for mobile operators. The study details the imperative for mobile operators to maintain primary focus on core business areas like roaming and to take action to protect and drive revenue in the face of fierce battles for subscribers.

Chief Marketing Officer Mary Clark will also lead Syniverse's presence at Mobile World Congress by speaking at "Integrating Interactions with the Connected Consumer," which is part of a keynote session where she will co-present with Sarah Mansfield, Vice President, Global Media, Europe and Americas, Unilever. Clark's and Mansfeld's presentation will address the importance of capturing consumer interactions and using this intelligence to better understand and serve individual consumer's mobile profiles. The session will also feature other speakers from several industry-leading technology companies and consumer brands.

Additionally, Syniverse will be co-sponsoring the Next Generation Hotspot and Wi-Fi Certified Passpoint Network. Led by the Wireless Broadband Alliance and the GSM Association, this initiative will allow Mobile World Congress attendees using Passpoint-enabled iOS and Android (News - Alert) from participating mobile operators to automatically connect to the public Wi-Fi network at the Fira Gran Via venue via secure credentials and Wi-Fi connections. Syniverse, as a member of the Wireless Broadband Alliance and in conjunction with more than 30 mobile operators and several other technology partners, will help automatically authenticate mobile devices at the conference to enable attendees to have seamless network access.

Syniverse will use its social media channels to provide regular updates about its activities at Mobile World Congress, and Syniverse's Twitter (News - Alert) feed will be featured on the conference's official tweet wall and displayed on over 100 television screens throughout the venue.
