Swiss WorldCargo Selects Unisys [Travel & Leisure Close - Up](Travel & Leisure Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Unisys Corp. reported that Swiss WorldCargo has launched an eBooking system based on Unisys' cargo portal services technology. "We're continuously looking to further enhance and refine our e- services, to both fulfill our customers' needs and meet our industry's standards. Our new eBooking portal, based on Unisys' proven Cargo Portal Service, provides our customers with greater accessibility and flexibility," said Urs Stulz, vice president, head of Central Services Group at Swiss WorldCargo, in a release. Christopher Shawdon, vice president, Logistics Solutions for Unisys, said: "We are delighted that Swiss WorldCargo has joined the Unisys cargo community and will work with them to provide greater flexibility to both their own business processes and the services they offer their clients." The Swiss WorldCargo-branded eBooking platform is based on Unisys Cargo Portal Services and is delivered via Software-as-a-Service hosted by Unisys. The online booking channel is accessed via the Swiss WorldCargo website. Swiss WorldCargo is the air freight division of Swiss International Air Lines. Unisys is an information technology company.
