The White House has announced that President Bush intends to nominate William E. Kovacic to be a commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission.
He would serve the remainder of a seven-year term expiring Sept. 25, 2011. Kovacic is currently a professor at The George Washington University Law School and previously served as general counsel of the FTC.
He will serve as one of the agency's five commissioners, replacing Orson Swindle.
