Bush to Nominate Kovacic as FTC CommissionerBy GLENN J. KALINOSKI Executive Editor Customer Inter@ction Solutions The White House has announced that President Bush intends to nominate William E. Kovacic to be a commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission. He would serve the remainder of a seven-year term expiring Sept. 25, 2011. Kovacic is currently a professor at The George Washington University Law School and previously served as general counsel of the FTC. He will serve as one of the agency's five commissioners, replacing Orson Swindle. Kovacic must be confirmed by the Senate. |
