SUNY Orange Foundation Introduces Two New Board Members(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MIDDLETOWN, N.Y., Sept. 29 -- The State University of New York-Orange County issued the following news release: The SUNY Orange Foundation recently welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors, adding Kathleen Webber, most recently director of development for the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation, and Moriah Brock, a second-year engineering student who will represent the College's student body. Webber, who boasts extensive non-profit fundraising experience, joined the ORMC Foundation in 2008, spending six years there until retiring earlier this year. She served for two years as campaign director before taking over as director of development in 2010. A 1986 graduate of SUNY Orange, Webber also spent eight years as vice president of marketing and fundraising for Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties. She is past president of both the Mamakating Rotary and the Junior League of Orange County, and was named an Orange County Woman of Achievement in 2012. Brock, a Mount Hope resident who was recently elected as president of the Middletown campus Student Senate, is the seventh member of her immediate family to attend SUNY Orange, following her father Roland and each of her five older siblings. She is also active in both the math and engineering clubs, and is a member of the Honors Program at SUNY Orange. "We enthusiastically welcome Kathi to the Foundation," says Nick Illobre, chair of the Foundation's nominating and board development committee. "She understands this community, is an alumna, and possesses a depth of fundraising knowledge that will be invaluable on the Board. "When Moriah spoke on behalf of the students at the recent dedication of the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering, we knew immediately she was the right student to join the Foundation. Moriah is an outstanding student destined to succeed in achieving her dream of becoming an engineer," Illobre adds. "Moreover, she represents an important voice on the Board because she's experienced the impact of the Foundation's work as a member of the Honors Program, which we help to support, and as a scholarship winner."
