Jan 14, 2013 (Congressional Documents and Publications/ContentWorks via COMTEX) -- WASHINGTON D.C. - Congressman Steve Stivers (R-Columbus) today announced the opening of new district office locations in Lancaster (Fairfield County) and Wilmington (Clinton County) to serve the new parts of Ohio's 15th Congressional District. Both offices have full time staff available on hand to assist constituents.

The Lancaster Office is located at 123 S. Broad Street, Suite 235, Lancaster, OH 43130. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and staff can be reached by phone at (740) 654-2654 and by fax at (740) 654-2482.

The Wilmington Office is located at 69 North South Street, Suite 178, Wilmington, OH, 45177. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and staff can be reached by phone at (937) 283-7049 and by fax at (937) 283-7052.

"I am honored to serve the citizens of Ohio's 15th Congressional District and will work hard every day to make you proud," Stivers said. "It is important to me that my staff and I are easily accessible so we can effectively provide constituents with the best service possible, which is why I am glad to be opening Lancaster and Wilmington office locations in addition to the Hilliard office location." Stivers represents 12 counties, including: all of Athens, Clinton, Fairfield, Hocking, Madison, Morgan, Perry, Pickaway, and Vinton counties, and parts of Fayette, Franklin, and Ross counties. The Lancaster and Wilmington Offices are in addition to the already established Hilliard office.

"I have been listening and understand the concerns and challenges facing Ohio's 15th Congressional District," Stivers said. "My priorities in the 113th Congress include: supporting policies that create and promote job creation, cutting run-away-federal spending, and working to pass a Balanced Budget Amendment that will force the federal government to start living within its means." Prior to running for Congress, Stivers served six years in the Ohio Senate and previously worked in the private sector. Raised in Ripley, Ohio, Stivers has served over 27 years in the Ohio Army National Guard and holds the rank of Colonel. He earned his bachelor's degree and his MBA from The Ohio State University and resides in Columbus with his wife, Karen, and children, Sarah and Sam. Stivers is currently serving his second term as a Member of Congress and will sit on the House Financial Services Committee in the 113th Congress.
