Splinternet Holdings Announces International Long Distance Calling Service for Mobile Virtual Network Operators

NORWALK, Conn. --(Business Wire)-- Splinternet Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: SLNH), announced today that it has begun offering a competitive lower cost international calling service for mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).

The Splinternet system has been integrated into the core wireless network and billing systems used by MVNOs and enables their customers to make lower cost international calls than is available through traditional cellular network services. Splinternet's services create new revenue opportunities for these MVNOs and provide higher margins on international calling than traditional services offered. Splinternet's service makes international calling convenient and inexpensive for all subscribers of the MVNO, especially prepaid subscribers and expatriates.

James Ackerly, Splinternet President, commented, "We are pleased with the initial response to our international service for MVNOs, which began generating revenue in the second quarter ended June 30. We expect this to continue to be a growth area for Splinternet, and believe that as we continue to expand our menu of innovative offerings, Splinternet will continue to grow into a full-service internet-driven telecommunications company. We are excited to be working closely with these wireless providers to expand our target market for Splinternet wholesale services. With more than 50 operational MVNOs in the US alone, and more than 360 planned or operational MVNOs worldwide, we believe this is a growing market that Splinternet is well-positioned to serve."
