Somerset Trust Company Selects Malauzai Software's Retail+ for Small Business Banking

Somerset Trust Company has selected Malauzai Software's Retail+ for Small Business Banking product, which is being introduced at BAI (News - Alert) Retail Delivery 2015 in Las Vegas. By adding a distinct small business product to its integrated platform of mobile and Internet banking applications, Malauzai's community financial institution customers can better serve this segment with functionality not currently met by traditional mobile and Internet banking products. The Somerset, Penn.-based bank will use the solution to provide a more customized experience and features uniquely designed to accommodate the needs of its small business customers.

Malauzai's Retail+ Small Business Banking will empower Somerset Trust's business customers with mobility; from any location or device they can easily move money via unified payments and collections, both ACH and wire, as well as synchronize transactions through seamless integrations to any accounting software. Real-time alerts for transactions improve productivity, and the bank has ultimate control to set user permissions and entitlemets. Through just one log-in, a customer can manage both personal and business accounts on any device, protected by an additional layer of authentication at login to mitigate fraud.

"We believe that leading in technology, especially in the mobile space, enables us to respond more dynamically across the board, essentially allowing us to control our own destiny," said John Gill, COO and Risk Officer for Somerset Trust Company. "We are very excited about providing our customers with a small business product that enables greater capabilities beyond those offered with traditional retail banking products. Our decision to partner with Malauzai on small business and their other offerings including Internet banking will allow us to replace six systems and integrate with what we believe are best in class solutions that support our entire financial institution, from our retail customers to our business users. Leveraging a robust platform approach from Malauzai will enable us to have a strategic advantage not only over our local competitors, but those with a much larger national footprint."

Malauzai's Retail+ for Small Business Banking is the latest extension of its mobile and Internet banking platform, known for delivering a superior user experience through SmartApps™ for any bank constituent and any screen size. The company's Mobile Only Experience™ (MOX™) philosophy drives simplicity in design and navigation across any device to consistently provide the mobile experience to which consumers have grown accustomed and increasingly prefer.

"Progressive institutions like Somerset Trust have long needed solutions designed specifically for their small business customers," said Robb Gaynor, chief marketing officer of Malauzai Software. "Our Small Business Banking product enables community institutions to meet the growing demand they are seeing and provide this customer segment with personalized functionality. Small business owners not only gain more control and flexibility, but are also able to transact and manage business banking remotely, with the same features and ease regardless of the device they are using. Small Business Banking integrates with any bank core and any accounting system a business uses, which makes conducting business a seamless and simplified experience."
