SmartBear Names Vice President of Products for Development and Testing

SmartBear Software, the leader in software quality tools for the connected world, has named Kevin Gillis as Vice President of Products Development and Testing for SmartBear's software quality tools. Kevin is responsible for the direction and execution of the company's collaboration and testing tools, including Collaborator, AQtime Pro, TestComplete, QAComplete and LoadComplete.

Kevin has more than 20 years of executive product management experience and is credited with more than 100 product releases, ranging from 1.0 products and services to sourcing, and successfully integrated 10 mergers and acquisitions, together generating over $600 million in sales. He served Ipswitch for more than 10 years, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Development and Customer Advocacy where he helped to drive rapid growth at the company. He was Director of Product Management at Trellix/Interland and Into Networks and Product Manager at Lotus/IBM (News - Alert). Kevin holds a degree from the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISyE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
