Sitel Opens New Site and Brings More than 1,000 Jobs to Pompano Beach


Sitel, a leading global customer care provider, today announced it will open a new customer experience center in Pompano Beach, creating more than 1,000 new full-time career opportunities. These jobs are in addition to the 700 new hires in Lake City and 300 opportunities at Sitel's Ocala location, totaling more than 2,000 new jobs for the state of Florida announced in approximately 60 days.

Sitel is hiring at every level in Pompano Beach, including management positions. 350 team members are needed immediately to accommodate the site's launch in the first week of August. The new site is made possible by Sitel's growth and new business penetration in the Financial Services sector. This is a strategic industry sector for Sitel, as evidenced by the ongoing investments being made in the vertical. The Pompano Beach team will provide excellent customer care services for a large financial services institution.

City of Pompano Beach Mayor Lamar Fisher said, "We are very pleased Sitel has chosen to locate its customer experience center in the City of Pompano Beach and appreciate the economic boost and jobs it will create for our citizens."

Sitel is hosting a job fair at CareerSource Broward North, 2301 West Sample Road #4-7A in Pompano Beach from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day through July 24.
