Sindh Para Veterinary Staff suspends vaccination of livestock across province

Sindh Para Veterinary Staff Association has stopped mass vaccination of animals throughout province demanding the implementation of High Courts decision to upgrade Livestock Assistants. On the appeal of Sindh Para Veterinary Staff Association the Karachi Division of Para Veterinary Staff held token hunger strike outside Press Club on Tuesday.



Sindh Para Veterinary Staff Association President Malik Muhammad Aslam and Chairman Abdul Qadir said that no action has been taken to upgrade Livestock Assistants even after four months. They said that even the Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah had approved the summary two months back to upgrade the post but the decision was not implemented.

They demanded that the court orders should be followed and respected and summary approved by Chief Minister should be implemented forthwith. They said that we will fight for our rights and we could go for hunger strike and suicide to acquire what we deserve.
