The designation indicates that after a detailed validation process, DS437VMWWD 1.01 and DS81VMWWND 1.01 thin client solutions have obtained VMware's highest level of endorsement, the company noted in a release. "Companies are moving away from large desktops; instead they are installing small thin client devices like those from Shuttle; documents, files, and content reside on virtual servers, often powered by VMware software," said Marty Lash, director, sales and marketing, Shuttle Computer Group. "By using Shuttle's DS437VMWwD 1.01and DS81VMWWND1.01 with VMware View 5.0 enterprises can quickly configure and install these thin client devices into any virtualized application."
