A Short Tour Of Two Countries

Atour that takes in at-tractive places in Vietnam and Cambodia gives tourists a lot in five days. The tour covers HCM City, Chau Doc, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Accommodation is based on twin-share rooms at hotels of two- to four-star standard in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The room rate ranges between US$30 and US$282, the choice is yours. Prices are affected by the number of tour members. The tour price includes accommodation, entrance tickets to tourist attractions listed in the itinerary, guides, land transport, meals and a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake. Tourists have to pay other fees, such as visa, immigration stamping, personal expenses and services not mentioned in the itinerary.
Day 1: HCM City-Chau Doc
Depart from HCM City. Breakfast in Binh Chanh. Lunch in Long Xuyen. Hotel check-in in Chau Doc in the afternoon. Visit attractions in Sam Mountain, including Tay An Pagoda, Ba Chua Xu (Lady Xu) Temple and Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple. Dinner. Free at night.
Day 2: Chau Doc-Phnom Penh
Breakfast. Hotel check-out. Travel to Phnom Penh by speedboat. Immigration procedure at the international border gate in Song Tien (Vinh Xuong). Arrive at Sisowath Pier and have lunch at a local restaurant. Hotel check-in. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, Gold and Silver pagodas where there is a gold Buddha weighing 90 kilograms inscribed with 2,086 diamonds. Visit Wat Phnom, National Museum, Independence Monument, Chaktomuk River Square. Dinner. Try your luck at Naga Casino, the largest international casino in Cambodia.
Day 3: Phnom Penh-Siem Reap
Breakfast. Hotel check-out. Depart for Siem Reap. Lunch. Hotel check-in. Visit Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fish basin in Cambodia. Dinner. Free at night.
Day 4: Siem Reap
Breakfast. Visit the world wonder of Angkor Wat, with famous attractions like the temples of Preah Khan, Ta Keo and Ta Prohm where the Hollywood movie Tomb Raider was shot, the 12-meter-high four-faced statue of Bayon God, and the Elephant Head statue. Lunch. In the afternoon, tour Angkor Wat, outstanding among the temple complex of Angkor. Dinner with Cambodia specialties and watch the typical royal Khmer dance show of Apsara.
Day 5: Siem Reap-HCM City
Breakfast. Hotel check-out. Return to Vietnam. Lunch in Kompong Cham. Arrive at Moc Bai international border gate in the afternoon. Immigration procedure. Return to HCM City. x
