ShoreTel Connect ONSITE Drives Better Patient Care and Staff Efficiency for Kids Plus Pediatrics


SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ShoreTel® (NASDAQ: SHOR) today announced Kids Plus Pediatrics is running its business on ShoreTel Connect™ ONSITE, realizing seamless communication between offices, staffing efficiencies and low TCO. Kids Plus Pediatrics (KPP) is a three-location medical practice with 100 employees in the Pittsburgh, Penn. area.

KPP has been a ShoreTel premises customer and was looking to expand its system when it became involved in the ShoreTel Connect ONSITE beta program. When considering transitioning to a newer phone system, KPP's most important requirement was scalability. They also needed to improve internal communications, staff more efficiently, and keep costs down.

"During the beta program, we were impressed with the Connect ONSITE features and ShoreTel's strong customer service. Compared to competing vendors, pricing was significantly better as well," said Christian Lowry, chief information director at Kids Plus Pediatrics. "As a result, we decided to implement a full onsite solution. From a cost standpoint alone we anticipate that ShoreTel Connect ONSITE will save the practice about 10 percent over five years compared to the other vendors we considered."

With the new system now fully implemented, KPP is realizing big productivity and communication improvements.

Employees at KPP also use the ShoreTel Mobility application to make it easier to reach each other as they travel between locations.
