Shining testimonial for IT advisers from software partner [Derby Evening Telegraph (England)]
(Derby Evening Telegraph (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) THE IT division at a Derby business advisory firm has gained an accreditation that puts it within the top five per cent of Microsoft's worldwide partners.
Smith Cooper has attained Silver Competency accreditation after a decade of working with the software giant. To earn the certification, firms must complete a set of tests to prove their level of expertise.
Paul Howard, Smith Cooper's director of IT, said: "Our silver competencies showcase our expertise in today's technology market and demonstrates our knowledge of Microsoft products.
"When determining which partners to do business with, 80% of customers place more trust in a partner's advice if they hold relevant technical certifications.
"Having just one Microsoft Silver competency puts partners like Smith Cooper in the top 5% of all Microsoft's 640,000 worldwide partners - we currently have two, in desktop and as a mid-market solution provider."
Managing partner Andy Delve commented: "We are all very proud of the achievements of our IT advisory team.
"It further demonstrates the firm's philosophy in training and developing our teams by ensuring our advisers hone areas of expertise which ultimately benefit the whole of our client base."
