Shares of Vimpel-Communications Rank the Lowest in Terms of PEG Ratio in the Wireless Telecommunication Services Industry (VIP, PCS, MBT, NIHD, SHEN)

Apr 19, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Wireless Telecommunication Services industry with the lowest price to earnings to growth (PEG) ratios. PEG is valuable in assessing the tradeoff between the price of a stock and expected growth. Generally, the lower the PEG, the better.

Vimpel-Communications ranks lowest with a a PEG ratio of 0.25. MetroPCS Communications is next with a a PEG ratio of 0.44. Mobile Telesystems ranks third lowest with a a PEG ratio of 0.77.

NII Holdings follows with a a PEG ratio of 0.84, and Shenandoah Telecommunications rounds out the bottom five with a a PEG ratio of 1.71.
