Securus Meets with Justice Department and FBI to Review Potential Illegal Activities Within the Inmate Telephone Marketplace

DALLAS, May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Securus Technologies, a leading provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions for public safety, investigation, corrections and monitoring, announced today that it has met with the Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and discussed potential illegal actions by a competitor in the inmate telephone industry.

Some of these allegations represent clear criminal activity.
