SAP Product Targets Automotive Aftermarket
Features Include Inventory Reduction, Improved Service Levels and Productivity

Business software solutions provider SAP announced Tuesday the availability of a new small and midsize industry-specific solution from subsidiary SAP America Inc.
The solution targets the nation�s $250 billion automotive aftermarket businesses and is designed to reduce inventory as well as augment service levels and productivity. It was developed by SAP Business One solution partners Valogix and Praxis Software.
Aftermarket suppliers will be able to deal with issues such as: an increasing demand for an electronic catalog and online presence to reach a growing market; challenges related to tracking significant amounts of parts; and managing disparate software solutions.
