Samsung releases the Galaxy S5 Plus with little fanfare [Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia)](Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Samsung has quietly released the Galaxy S5 Plus, which is essentially a faster variant of the standard Galaxy S5 with a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU. Bear in mind that this isn’t the international version of the QHD display-equipped Galaxy S5 LTE-A, even though it features LTE Category 6 connectivity, allowing download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. Specifications-wise, the Galaxy S5 Plus retains the 5.1-inch full-HD display seen in the standard version, without any noticeable changes in the design either, as Samsung is also set to launch the device with the same colours — blue, white, silver and black — much like the Galaxy S5. We do not have any pricing information available at the moment, though it would be interesting to see how Samsung intends on marketing this device, given that the Galaxy Note 4 has just been made available in many countries across the globe.
