Saeed Sheikh to Join UL Consumer Products [Manufacturing Close - Up](Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) UL Consumer Products reported that Saeed Sheikh has joined the company as lead technical consultant and subject matter expert for the divisions textile and apparel services. According to an organization release, Sheikh joins UL Consumer Products from Gap, Inc. Most recently, Sheikh was with SGS Consumer Testing. He previously served at Esquel Enterprises. "The knowledge and experience that Saeed Sheikh brings to UL provides a greater level of technical depth to our textile and apparel, and Global Technical Resource teams, while allowing UL to bring more efficiency to our operational business practices, and greater opportunities for our clients," said Michael Shows, Global Technical Research Director for UL's Consumer Products division. Prior to joining Esquel Enterprises, Sheikh held managerial positions at the Worcester Company, Elizabeth Webbing Mills and Harodite Finishing Company.
