Roost Names Drew Izzo as Chief Marketing Officer

Roost, a search engine for real estate and homes, has appointed Drew
Izzo as Chief Marketing Officer.

At Roost, Izzo will focus on creating an integrated, viral marketing
strategy, to maximize traffic to Roost s real estate search platform.
Roost.com offers consumers a search experience, complete with property
listings in their local area.

Drew has a deep understanding of what drives online consumer behavior
and can translate this into innovative marketing strategies that drive
maximum traffic and revenues, said Alex Chang, CEO of Roost. I m
excited that he s joining our team, as we continue to roll out our
platform across the U.S.

Izzo joins Roost from Ancestry.com, an online source for family history
information, where he served as Vice President of Marketing for The
Americas. Prior to that role, Izzo served in other senior marketing and
customer-focused roles at Ancestry.com, including Director of Customer


Relationship Management and Retention, and Director of Acquisition
Marketing and Analytics. Before joining Ancestry.com, Izzo managed
global marketing for Novell, drove partner marketing at WebMiles.com,
and also ran his own start-up, Wireless Cable Systems, before a
successful sale.
