Rising Medical Device Manufacturer Selects IQMS

IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced that medical device manufacturer, Mobius Imaging, LLC, has selected the manufacturing ERP solution, EnterpriseIQ, because of the strength of the software package and the considerable experience the ERP vendor has working with medical device companies. Mobius Imaging considered several other major ERP packages before selecting EnterpriseIQ from IQMS.

Mobius Imaging was founded in 2008 and just recently transitioned from an R&D infrastructure to full commercialization of its first product, a Mobile CT Scanner targeted for surgical applications. A 2014 Medical Device Excellence Award (MDEA) gold winner, the Airo Mobile Intraoperative CT Scanner has opened the door to tremendous growth opportunities for Mobius Imaging.

As the medical device manufacturer transitioned from an R&D facility to volume manufacturing, it outgrew its legacy software systems and knew it was time to search for a more comprehensive solution. Mobius Imaging hoped to find a system that could support its planned growth year over year, as well as help maintain the strict regulations of the medical device industry.

To help improve traceability, Mobius Imaging has invested in IQMS' quality management suite, including the device history record (DHR) solution, document control, quality audit, SPC and much more. Additionally, Mobius Imaging will gain simplified inventory management and increased inventory accuracy with IQMS' warehouse management system (WMS), as well as be able to automatically link its part and assembly information directly to EnterpriseIQ with the SolidWorks add-in.
