Webgistix Corp., a supplier of e-commerce order fulfillment, announced that Ripcords, a provider of resistance bands and other exercise products, has selected Webgistix to provide e-commerce order fulfillment for the company's multichannel distribution network, including the Ripcords.com website.
"We are committed to world-class customer service, and a big part of ensuring customer satisfaction is fulfilling orders quickly and accurately," said Darren Shane, co-founder of Ripcords. "That's why we work with Webgistix. Customers get what they want, fast. As a business owner, the Webgistix guarantee of speed and accuracy gives me great peace of mind."
He added, "I also appreciate the fact that Webgistix is economical. It's important that our customers aren't burdened with high shipping costs, which could impact our sales."
According to a release, Webgistix's SmartFill platform allows e-commerce retailers such as Ripcords to gain all the benefits of outsourcing while giving them total control over order fulfillment as well as real-time, web-based visibility into fulfillment operations. SmartFill integrates seamlessly with e-commerce shopping applications, including Google Checkout and Yahoo! Stores.
Joseph DiSorbo, President of Webgistix, said that the addition of another premier online retailer to the Webgistix client list further validates the SmartFill solution. SmartFill provides both upstream and downstream integration, connecting to a retailer's shopping cart or CRM system as well as to leading shipping companies, such as FedEx and UPS.
"Our fulfillment platform is ideal for e-commerce sites like Ripcords.com and we're proud to be associated with such an outstanding company," said DiSorbo. "We provide the leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for automating the fulfillment process. SmartFill minimizes human intervention in order fulfillment to help improve accuracy, reduce costs, and accelerate the delivery of merchandise."
