Revolabs xTag Wireless Microphone Now Available to Shoppers at Apple Online Store

LAS VEGAS, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Revolabs, the leading provider of wireless audio products for enhancing collaboration, today at InfoComm 2008, announced that the Revolabs xTag(TM) wireless microphone is now available for purchase from the Apple Store at http://www.applestore.com/. The solution can also be found on the Apple Education site specifically targeted to students and educators.

Revolabs xTag combines exceptional audio performance with wireless convenience for the individual workspace. Connecting to any Apple(R) computer via the USB interface, the xTag Wireless Microphone is ideal for podcasting, VoIP, SKYPE, web conferencing, distance education, speech recognition, and many other audio applications. The xTag Wireless Microphone does not require any software, so it installs immediately. It charges via the USB port.

"We are pleased that Mac users will now be able to easily purchase the xTag microphone on the Apple store," said Gregory Shalov, Revolabs vice president of sales. "The xTag wireless microphone is a perfect solution for educational applications, such as distance learning, podcasting, and recording lectures. It also provides excellent audio for all Mac applications."

Wireless
People, especially educators, want to be able to move around a room while they speak. The Revolabs xTag microphone is wireless, tiny, worn on a lapel or lanyard, with no annoying transmitter and battery pack. The speaker can move approximately 65 feet from the Charger Base. Also, an educator can walk over to the student who is asking a question and capture both the question and answer for distance learning purposes. Each xTag also has a Mute Button, and the ability to plug in an earpiece to hear the audio from the Mac directly in the wearer's ear.

Rechargeable
The xTag has a rechargeable battery that provides eight hours of talk time after each full charge. The unit will be charged any time the microphone is in the Charger Base and USB cable is connected. No more worrying about batteries.
