Remitly Launches Updated Mobile Application, Surpasses $100MM in Remittance Volume


SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--

Remitly, an international online remittance service that enables residents of the U.S. to send money to the Philippines, has launched new versions of its mobile application for iOS and Android (News - Alert). With these faster, more dynamic, applications, sending money to the Philippines has never been easier. New features include hassle-free re-authentication with Apple's (News - Alert) Touch ID and real-time exchange rates on Android.

In addition to enhancing its industry-leading customer experience on mobile, Remitly announced that it is now transferring more than $100MM annually to Philippines, equating to a near 400% year-over-year growth rate.
