RedSky�s E911 Manager Attains Nortel Compatible Product Designation
MIAMI � RedSky Technologies, a leading provider of E911 location information management solutions, today announced that it has achieved the status of Developer Partner in the Nortel (News - Alert) Developer Program. Through this program, RedSky and Nortel will now work more closely to identify, deliver and promote enhanced solutions for mutual customers. The announcement was made at TMC�s Internet Telephony (News - Alert)® Conference and EXPO East 2008.
RedSky�s award-winning E911 Manager version 5.4.1 was tested in a Nortel lab facility and verified as compatible with Nortel�s Communication Server 2100 release SE10. By focusing on products that bear the Nortel Compatible Product brandmark, such as E911 Manager, customers may realize a reduction in total cost of ownership , as these products have been verified to use established, supported Nortel interfaces and integration specifications.
E911 Manager provides automated, end-to-end E911 location management and 911 call routing. For the CS 2100 platform, E911 Manager uses Nortel APIs to establish real-time communication between the platforms. RedSky�s solution tracks IP phone movement in real time and provides the CS 2100 with updated 911 call routing and emergency number information while delivering complete location record management and automated updates to local ALI databases. E911 Manager also supports real-time notification of 911 calls to enterprise administrators.
