Radiant Logic Named a "Cool Vendor" in Security by a Leading Analyst Firm
NOVATO, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Radiant
Logic, the market leader for identity virtualization solutions,
today announced that it has been named a "Cool Vendor" in the Cool
Vendors in Security: Identity and Access Management report
(G00230384) by Gartner (News - Alert), Inc., a leading information technology
research company. The report names up-and-coming technologies that
drive innovation in the identity and access market segment, and
underscores the important trend towards context-aware security in IAM.
"Gartner has once again identified some very strong Cool Vendors in
2012. These up-and-coming technology providers are all very different,
but some clear and meaningful trends can be identified in their
offerings," the report reads. "These include…the need for contextual
understanding of the vast amounts of data stored across complex,
heterogeneous enterprise environments in making intelligent IAM and
business decisions."
The RadiantOne
platform presents identity-related context to end-users from across
an enterprise's disparate identity and structured data sources. Radiant
Logic's Context
Browser application offers an interface for users to search
structured data captured and published by the RadiantOne advanced virtual
directory. While the context browser is a unique application for the
end user to access contextual data, it is the underlying RadiantOne identity
virtualization process that extracts links, correlates structured
data, and represents it in a common model that can be searched, and
explored in English sentences.
"We're thrilled to be included on this list. We've worked long and hard
to spread our message about the importance of context in security and
identity management. Now also with the rise of context-aware mobile
applications, it's exciting to see the idea gaining traction," says
Michel Prompt, CEO of Radiant Logic. "We believe that our inclusion
demonstrates the growing demand to reveal and understand context across
enterprises to enable smarter IAM, and even gain greater insight into
customer behavior."
Radiant Logic's RadiantOne advanced virtual
directory federates identities across directories, databases, and
web-applications to create a secure virtual layer, and then publishes
and shares this data with applications across the enterprise.
RadiantOne's platform allows all systems to be linked and represented in
a common model that is updated in real-time-supporting a global view of
all business and security processes.
