(Sunday Mirror Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)BOLLYWOOD movie producers will arrive in Ireland this week to be wooed by the film and tourism bosses on both sides of the border.
The visit is the first since Taoiseach Bertie Ahern led a cross-border trade delegation to India in January and visited the heartland of the Bollywood industry in Mumbai, formerly Bombay.
The Bollywood film industry - a pun on Bombay and Hollywood - is the largest in the world.
Only three Indian films used-locations here until an Irish Film Board (IFB) delegation visited the country 18 months before Mr Ahern's delegation. Since then parts of a further 11 Indian feature films have been shot here.
