PwC revenue up 5% to pound(s)2.81bn [Herald, The (Scotland)]


(Herald, The (Scotland) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) THE average profit per partner at accountancy giant PwC has risen two per cent from pound(s)711,000 to pound(s)722,000.

PwC said revenue grew five per cent from pound(s)2.69 billion to pound(s)2.81bn in the 12 months to June 30.

Its assurance arm was up six per cent to more than pound(s)1.02bn, tax by five per cent to pound(s)714m, deals grew three per cent to pound(s)580m and consulting increased four per cent to pound(s)495m.

The Scottish practice was said to have experienced double digit percentage growth as a result of improving economic conditions, greater deal activity and the benefit of additional audit client wins.




Total profit rose from pound(s)772m to pound(s)750m.
