PULSE launches new Debit Regulations Resource Center
Feb 24, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --
Discover Bank has announced that PULSE, an ATM network, has launched a new Debit Regulations Resource Center. The web-based resource center provides information on debit-related legislation, regulations and compliance matters.
The microsite is an extension of PULSE's previous Durbin Amendment Resource Center, which served as a central hub for news and insights regarding debit card legislation. Now that the Federal Reserve Board has developed its final rule implementing the amendment, PULSE has repurposed and redesigned the resource center to expand its focus to help PULSE participants respond to the changing debit market.
"We heard from many of our participants that they valued the convenience and comprehensiveness of this resource for debit-related legislative and regulatory news and information, and we believe that expanding the focus of the site will drive even greater value to our network participants," said Steve Sievert, PULSE Senior vice president of Communications and Marketing. "The Debit Regulations Resource Center is one more way for PULSE to provide guidance and insight to our clients."
The re-launched resource center retains many of the same features designed to keep participants updated on the issues that affect their organizations. Those features include news, information, white papers, on-demand webinars, commentary and expert analysis from PULSE and other industry leaders, the company said.
