(Providence Journal, The (RI) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sep. 21--BENTLEY CONSULTING: Leah J. Szlatenyi, of East Greenwich, has been appointed partner. Formerly a director, she concentrates in the areas of business valuation, litigation support, cost segregation studies and R&D tax-credit studies. Her experience includes the manufacturing, fabrication, real-estate, property-management, educational, retail and professional-services industries. Szlatenyi has been a regular guest on NBC affiliate television station Channel 10 (WJAR).



FM GLOBAL: Edward Pryor Jr. has been named assistant vice president, assistant client service manager and oversees a team responsible for meeting product and service needs for clients around the world. He joined the firm in 1986 as an underwriter and has held various roles, each with increasing responsibility.

David Gaskill has been appointed vice president, manager of products and systems development and oversees all engineering systems, products and database development to meet the growing needs of clients worldwide. Gaskill joined the firm in 1985 as a loss prevention consultant and has held a variety of engineering positions, each with increasing responsibility.



Richard Snead has been named assistant vice president, manager of policy forms and procedures at its Johnston corporate headquarters and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all insurance policies and reinsurance agreements worldwide, as well as global regulatory compliance of company procedures. Snead joined the firm in 1995 as an underwriter and has held a variety of positions, each with increasing responsibility.

Heidi Holden has been appointed manager, employee sourcing at Johnstoncorporate headquarters and is responsible for overseeing employee recruitment strategies, including employee branding, on-boarding processes and university relations. She joined the firm last year from American Power Conversion as a senior staffing representative.

Suzanne DalBon has joined the firm as data analysis and administration manager at Johnston corporate headquarters and manages the design and analysis of enterprise data to support the company's application development and strategic objectives. Prior to joining the firm, DalBon was program administrator for enterprise data and information architecture at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

CENTREVILLE BANK: Ronda Felici, of West Warwick, has been promoted to assistant manager of the West Warwick branch. She has been associated with the bank since 1995 as a teller and as a customer-service representative.

PC TROUBLESHOOTERS: Maurice Jalette has joined the firm's sales team as a security consultant and will be overseeing the continued growth of the IP network surveillance program. After retiring from the Woonsocket Police Department, he was corporate director of security for the Biltmore Hotel in Providence and has his own private investigator business.

Jim Given has joined the firm as a surveillance specialist. He is a lieutenant in the Narragansett Fire Department and has his own security consulting and installation business.

NEWPORT COLLABORATIVE ARCHITECTS: Arnold Robinson, director of planning and a senior associate, has been promoted to principal. He has more than 20 years of experience as a public-process leader in encouraging community participation and has conducted public workshops for projects including: Palisades Mill, Peace Dale.; St. Philomena School, Portsmouth; and St. Andrew's School, Barrington. He previously was executive director of the Providence Preservation Society and preservation planner for the City of New Bedford. He also worked at the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Scott Winkler, a senior associate, has been promoted to principal. He joined the firm in 2001 and specializes in historic preservation in Providence, including Hotel Providence, Providence Performing Arts Center and the Hope Club. He has also worked on the adaptive reuse of Slatersville Mill in North Smithfield. Winkler worked at Wagner and Klein, architects and preservation consultants in Fredericksburg, Texas, where he performed a broad range of historic property services including research, documentation, master planning and phased restoration.

OCEANPOINT INSURANCE: Sam S. Sylvester, of Barrington, has been appointed vice president of financial services and will be responsible for consultation in employee benefits, including group health, life, disability and retirement planning. He joins the agency from Lighthouse Financial Group in Providence and was a partner with Sylvester Associates Inc. of Providence.

UNITEDHEALTHCARE: Sonia Millsom, of East Greenwich, has been promoted to Northeast regional vice president of public-sector account management and will oversee customers with more than 3,000 employees for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. She was previously an account vice president and is a former maternal and child health educator in the Peace Corps, having served in Morocco.

AGAR: Gary Lanoue, of Coventry, has been appointed category manager for seafood for the independent food distributor and will continue to develop and execute a seafood marketing and sales strategy. He will also manage the seafood procurement team and work with government agencies to ensure health-law compliance. Prior to joining the firm, he was vice president of sales and merchandising at AJ Martin, Inc. of Warwick.
