President to inaugurate Accountants' General Conference on Monday [Asian News International](Asian News International Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) New Delhi, Oct.25 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the Accountants' General Conference scheduled next week which will review the international best practices prevalent in audit and accounting. The three day conference scheduled to open on Monday is being organized by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) on the theme of 'Promoting Good Governance and Accountability through Public Audit'. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman, Prof. K V Thomas and Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India , Shashi Kant Sharma will address the conference to be attended by the Accountants General from all over the country. Apart of the main theme, they will hold four brain storming sessions on emerging areas of audit , measuring the impact of audit, capacity building in IAAD and challenges for Aand E offices and present their recommendations to the full assembly chaired by the CAG with all the Dy.
