Pioneer Selects BridgeCo Networked Audio Technology for Elite A/V Receivers

BridgeCo, a provider of entertainment networking technology, announced
that Pioneer has incorporated BridgeCo technology into Pioneer's
recently announced Elite SC-07 and SC-05 A/V receivers.

Pioneer said its AVRs utilize BridgeCo processors and software
technology to help create a home theatre experience called Home Media
Gallery.

Home Media Gallery allows users to select and playback personal digital
music and JPEG photos directly from computers or from USB memory
devices. Users can navigate and play audio from their iPods via a front
panel USB connection. Users also have direct access to thousands of
Internet radio stations, which can be organized and accessed by county
of origin, and musical genre. The Internet radio system can playback
5.1 channel music directly from Neural-enabled streaming Internet radio
stations.

"Consumers today demand access to all of their audio content," said a


Pioneer spokesperson. "Our new Elite AVRs allow consumers to enjoy all
of their music files, whether on a PC, portable music player or USB
flash drive. BridgeCo technology has proven its robustness and
reliability over several generations of audio networking technology.
Our Elite AVRs are the second generation of Pioneer designs to utilize
BridgeCo processors and software."
