Alexander Auctions and Real Estate Sales will hold an absolute auction at 10 a.m. Saturday of the 21-acre Union City, Tenn., estate of Jerry and Patsy Gurien. An open house is from 1-5 p.m. today at 1707 E. Reelfoot Ave.

He said the estate includes a 7,009-square-foot home with 100 rooms, four fireplaces and 3 1/2 baths. Also being sold are a five-acre lake, cabana pool house, octagon lake house and covered marina.
"This property would be ideal for redevelopment as a bed and breakfast, motel, restaurant or retirement center," Alexander said. "It also would be suited for medical offices, industry headquarters or entertainment park."
