picoChip Strengthens Senior Team with New VP of Operations

BATH, England --(Business Wire)-- picoChip today announced the appointment of Jackie Barker to the newly-created post of VP operations. A specialist in supply chain management, Ms Barker brings with her nearly 20 years' experience in a range of strategic and operational roles, and an in-depth knowledge of high technology industries.

Expert in building and leading both small and large teams of people, Ms Barker will focus on maintaining a responsive, agile supply chain that will allow picoChip to continue delivering first class technology throughout a phase of rapid growth. Her previous roles include an extended spell at Hewlett Packard, during which she participated in a move to lean manufacturing, and managed ASIC procurement strategy.

"This is another key appointment to the picoChip team," said Guillaume d'Eyssautier, president and CEO of picoChip. "Building a strong organization that will deliver value through this middle phase of our growth and beyond into the future is a challenge: and one which Jackie comes fully equipped to tackle."

"I'm delighted to be joining an exceptional team of people here at picoChip," said Ms Barker. "My focus will be ensuring that the company continues to deliver to its growing list of customers, by building a strong team internally, and equally strong relationships with a solid group of world-class partners."

Jackie Barker joins picoChip from high-performance computing specialists Clearspeed, where she took charge of supply chain strategy. She holds a BSc in Economics and Politics and an Executive MBA, both from Bath University.
