Peab expands University Hospital MAS in Malmo

Swedish construction and civil engineering group Peab AB said on Friday
(9 November) that it has won a contract to expand the University
Hospital MAS in Malmo, Sweden.
The contract, valued at SEK605m and awarded by Regionfastigheter,
includes new construction of 19,000 square metres and rebuilding of
5,000 square metres for the emergency and infection operations.
The project is scheduled for completion during 2011.
Peab, headquartered in Forslov, Sweden, is one of the Nordic region's
construction and civil engineering groups. The company has some 12,000
employees in Sweden, Finland and Norway, and has an annual turnover of
over SEK30bn. Peab is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.33 Swedish kronor
(SEK).
