Pasadena, California, Selects Tyler Technologies' Permitting and Land Management Platform

Tyler Technologies (News - Alert), Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with the city of Pasadena, California, for Tyler's EnerGov permitting and land management suite, part of Tyler's planning, regulatory and maintenance platform. The agreement includes software licensing, implementation, training and related professional services.

After a competitive review, the city of Pasadena chose Tyler's EnerGov platform for its flexibility and integration capabilities, as well as Tyler's longevity, financial stability and public sector experience.

Pasadena will implement several EnerGov applications, including permitting and land management, GIS integration, and EnerGov's citizen access portal. With web-enabled applications and robust reporting capabilities, EnerGov will work with the city's existing GIS data and will increase data access, which will help improve business processes through better interdepartmental collaboration and communication.

"We look forward to implementing EnerGov to enable our city staff to become more efficient and responsive to the needs of our constituents," said Phllip Leclair, Pasadena's chief information officer. "The online self-service capabilities will allow residents and businesses to interact with the City 24/7 and mobile tools will give staff real-time data access while in the field."

Pasadena is a full-service city with 16 departments, including Public Health and Public Transportation departments. The 23-square-mile city of Pasadena has an annual operating budget of about $823 million and 2,000 full-time employees servicing 140,000 residents and more than 25,000 businesses. The city also uses Tyler's Munis® ERP solution.
