"I appeal to those who can to contribute, with what is possible, to the budget of the MPLA campaign and implement the guidelines of the party", he said, stressing that the MPLA is what it is today because it has never accommodated itself in the achieved conquests.

He emphasised that there is still an imperative need to pay attention to former combatants and the programmes of fight against poverty and support to the youth, women, children, elderly people and disabled persons.
The meeting, held in the Futungo II Tourism Complex, in Luanda, was attended by 283 out of 311 members of the MPLA Central Committee, as well as directors and cadres of various departments of this party.
