Pareteum Receives Listing Extension from NasdaqNEW YORK, May 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Pareteum Corporation (Nasdaq: TEUM), (the "Company"), a cloud communications platform company, today announced that on May 27, 2020 the Company received a letter from the Office of General Counsel of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") informing the Company that the Nasdaq Hearings Panel (the "Panel") has granted the Company's stay request to continue to be eligible to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market, pending the issuance of a formal decision on behalf of the Panel following the hearing.
As previously reported, on May 12, 2020, the Company received a determination letter from the Listing Qualifications Staff of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") indicating that the Company is not in compliance with the requirement that a listed company timely file all required periodic financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission to remain listed on The Nasdaq Capital Market, as set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) (the "Rule"). On May 19, 2020, the Company appealed the delisting determinations to Nasdaq's Panel, and requested that the stay of delisting, which otherwise would expire on June 3, 2020, pursuant to Rule 5815(a)(1)(B), be extended until the Panel issued a final decision on the matter.
