Oracle Applications Users Group Names 2016 Executive Committee


The Oracle (News - Alert) Applications Users Group (OAUG), an independent, global, member-led organization that maximizes customers' investment in Oracle and partner solutions, announced its 2016 executive committee, a group charged with leading the organization's strategic planning process and direction.

Elected by the OAUG Board of Directors, the 2016 executive committee members are Dr. Patricia Dues, president; Alyssa Johnson, president-elect; Andrew Farber, treasurer; and Christine Hipp, secretary.

As president, Dues chairs the 2016 OAUG Executive Committee. Dues has been an Oracle Applications user and active member of the OAUG since 1996 and has served as a member of the organization's board of directors since 2000. Last year alone, Dues served in a variety of leadership roles within the OAUG, including president-elect, chair of the OAUG International Committee, member of the OAUG Customer Support Council, member of the OAUG Meetings and Conferences Committee, board liaison for the OAUG Marketing and Communications Committee and member of the OAUG Exhibitor Advisory Council.

As president-elect, Johnson is the current president's back-up and assumes the role of president in 2017. With education and experience in computer science and Oracle E-Business Suite, Alyssa Johnson provides a broad spectrum of both technical and functional knowledge. She has served on the OAUG Board of Directors since 2011, as OAUG Secretary and as a member of the Governance, Education and Marketing and Communications Committees.

Farber has 24 years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite. He has been a long-term active member of the OAUG, presenting at conferences and serving on the OAUG Customer Support Council for nearly 15 years. He previously served on the OAUG Board of Directors and has also served as a member of the OUG Governance Committee and the OAUG Finance Committee.



Hipp has 10 years of active involvement with the OAUG and 12 years of experience working with Oracle Applications. She previously served on the OAUG Board of Directors for three years, led the OAUG Government Contractor SIG for three years and served on the OAUG Membership Committee and OAUG Governance Committee.

"The executive committee provides the strategic direction of the OAUG to ensure that members take part in the most beneficial networking experiences and receive the most current and relevant education on Oracle Applications and other associated applications," said Dr. Patricia Dues, president of the OAUG.
