The Oracle Applications Users Group Facilitates User-to-User Connections at Oracle OpenWorld 2014

ATLANTA --(Business Wire)--

The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle (News - Alert) Applications users, announced its schedule of hosted meetings and educational sessions at the upcoming Oracle OpenWorld 2014 conference Sept. 28 - Oct. 2 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

During the week of this conference, OAUG members deliver more than 12 educational sessions exploring common challenges and solutions relating to Oracle Applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite implementation best practices, integrations and upgrades, Oracle EPM Administrator, Oracle HCM, Oracle Data Warehousing, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and more. OAUG President Alyssa Johnson will co-present a session titled, "Acquisition Migration from SAP (News - Alert) and an Oracle E-Business Suite 12 Upgrade" on Monday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. PT in Moscone West 2020.

This year, the OAUG is facilitating an interactive discussion onsite and online as a key part of the OAUG's emphasis to connect users. Throughout the conference, members are encouraged to visit either the OAUG kiosk in the Users Group Pavilion in Moscone South or Booth 3131 in Moscone West to post questions and receive answers on an interactive discussion board. Those unable to attend the conference may still actively participate in the Q&A through the OAUG online discussion forum.

More than 60 OAUG geographic (Geo) and special interest group (SIG) meetings are to be held in Moscone Center West on Sunday, Sept. 28, during the Oracle Users Forum. The forum offers attendees networking and learning opportunities with Oracle customers who use similar Oracle Applications.

Attendees interested in membership are encouraged to visit the OAUG kiosk in Moscone South to speak with OAUG board members, volunteers and staff about the benefits of membership. In addition, interested attendees can learn about OAUG programs and resources designed to accelerate professional development and performance potential.

"The OAUG aims to provide meaningful networking opportunities while enhancing the educational atmosphere at Oracle OpenWorld 2014," said Johnson. "Our focus is to facilitate the discussion of users' experience and knowledge of Oracle Applications to enable members to gain the most from their Oracle investment."
