Online Gourmet Retailer Sees Significant Increase in Online Orders Using Omniture and Yesmail

OREM, UT, Oct 15, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business
optimization software, today announced that Dale and Thomas Popcorn
has seen a significant increase in online retail orders through their
integrated use of Omniture SiteCatalyst Web analytics and Yesmail
Enterprise email marketing. The online retailer of gourmet popcorn
products and gifts chose the combined solution to better manage email
marketing campaigns and significantly increased online order
conversion.
Among first time shoppers that received "welcome" emails and shoppers
who abandoned their online shopping carts but then received a
follow-up remarketing email, Dale and Thomas Popcorn achieved email
open rates that were 300 - 600 percent higher and click thru rates
that were 600 - 1,000 percent higher than regular email messages from
the company.
"Prior to using the Omniture-Yesmail integration, it was difficult
to gain answers to questions surrounding our email campaigns and test
results," said Deborah Krier, retention marketing manager at Dale and
Thomas Popcorn. "Now, we can get answers about our campaign results
with just a few mouse clicks and make business decisions with greater

subscriber activity has increased dramatically, which has also
contributed to an improvement in email campaign conversion."
By integrating Yesmail and Omniture, Dale and Thomas Popcorn could
track email campaigns at a more granular level. For example, when the
company was pushing early purchasing of Father's Day gifts, it sent a
blast offering "free shipping" for early orders. The company wanted
to know if the offer was actually boosting Father's Day orders or if
people were using the offer to buy something else. "It was nice to be
able to drill down and see that the vast majority of those that
received the Father's Day promotion were actually buying our Father's
Day SKUs," said Krier. "That meant that our messaging was effective."
