Your old Nokia phones could be worth up to RM 4500 [Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia)]

(Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Some of the newer smartphones today can get rather pricey, but in some cases, the older devices can be much more valuable.

A website that goes by the name of Vintage Mobile offers a wide array of defiantly dumb phones during the time when Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson were still lords.

Refurbished models on this website can usually fetch between $100 (RM 320) and 200 (RM 640), but there are some gems that can cost you up to four figures. The rarest of them all is the Nokia 8800 Arte Carbon, which has achieved legendary status, where the price of a refurbished model in 2014 is nearly $1,400 (RM 4500).

An earlier premium Nokia offering, the 8810 can be yours for roughly RM 640. If you don’t remember it, it was the phone that made a name for itself by being one of the first models in Western markets featuring a chrome finish and a sliding cover that protects the keypad.

Among other notable treasures, you can also find phones such as the "lipstick phone" Nokia 7380, "the lozenge" Nokia 7600 and the translucent Nokia 8310. Curious? Head over to Vintage Mobile and have a look yourself.
