OKI Printing Solutions Extends Range of Anoto Qualified Products
(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
OKI Printing Solutions announced that the C5950 (Europe & Asia)/C6100
(Americas) and the C9650 are the latest products to achieve Anoto
printing qualification.
The Anoto printing solution is expected to advance the business of
transmitting handwritten text from paper to digital format.
The company said that stringent testing conducted by Anoto has
confirmed that OKI Printing Solutions is still the only printer
manufacturer that is qualified by Anoto worldwide, enabling precise
printing of the unique Anoto dot pattern critical to the Digital Pen's
functionality.
The C5950/C6100 model is suitable for businesses with a wide range of
color and mono printing requirements. It is easy to use and requires
minimal user intervention, making it an ideal solution for busy
workgroups of up to ten people. The C9650 is part of the refreshed
C9000 Series, suited to larger workgroups producing professional A3
color and black and white documents in-house.
With one of OKI Printing Solutions' qualified printers, Anoto users can
print digital forms as they are needed, rather than purchasing
pre-printed forms. This solution not only provides flexibility, but
reduces paper waste and unnecessary expenditure.
Harushige Sugimoto, President and CEO for OKI Data Corp. says: "Our
partnership with Anoto continues to strengthen: since OKI Printing
Solutions' first Anoto qualification in January 2006, we have continued
to offer printers that meet their digital technology requirements.
Anoto Digital Pen and Paper technology offers businesses a unique and
cost-effective service with a wide variety of applications and we are
keen to pursue Anoto qualification for our future product ranges."
Anders Norling, CEO of Anoto says: "OKI Printing Solutions is currently
the only specialist business printer manufacturer to meet the precise
requirements for Anoto partnership worldwide, thanks to its High
Definition Color LED technology. We look forward to continuing this
fruitful relationship as they bring new products to the market."
