Nvidia projects strong revenue in fiscal 2013(Associated Press Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Computer graphics technology company Nvidia Corp. said Tuesday that it expects fiscal 2013 revenue of $4.7 billion to $5 billion, far higher than the $4.4 billion that analysts polled by FactSet expect on average. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said the company expects growth across its entire graphics processing unit and mobile-processor business. "The future for computing is visual and mobile, and we are well positioned to lead in this new era," Huang said in a statement. The company's 2013 fiscal year begins Jan. 30. Shares jumped 93 cents, or 7.4 percent, to $14.11 in after-hours trading after the release. Shares had closed up 26 cents, or 2 percent, at $13.18 in the regular session.
