Sylvain Lavoie: Director of Sales As Director of Sales, Sylvain Lavoie will work towards achieving the company's mission through planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating any activities related to the company's sales. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Lavoie will lead initiatives in business development, new client arrival, and partnership programming. These initiatives help Groupe Morneau to maximize the value of the services offered, and to reach the company's business objectives by maintaining and strengthening its positioning in the market. A graduate from the Universite du Quebec a Montreal in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing and Finance, Sylvain Lavoie began his sales career as a coordinator at At Pac Pieces de Carrosserie, a position he held for four years. In 2000, Mr. Lavoie joined the Secur team, a division of Desjardins Group acquired in 2003 by Garda World, where he acted as Call Center Supervisor, Coordinator of After-sales Services, and Internal Sales Representative. From 2003 to 2013, Lavoie tackled new challenges in the Cash Services division at Garda World, where he developed solid management experience as Senior Director of Business Development. Finally, before joining Groupe Morneau, Mr. Lavoie was able to gain experience as Sales Director within the Recycling Division of Kruger. Throughout his career, Mr. Lavoie has acquired strong skills in managing sales teams, by establishing and executing efficient processes to manage representatives and customer experiences. Mr. Lavoie will be assigned to the Montreal office. Pascale Simoneau: Account Director Groupe Morneau is also proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Pascale Simoneau to the role of Account Director for Groupe Morneau. As such, she will be responsible for recruiting new customers in the western region of Montreal for all divisions of Groupe Morneau. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Simoneau will be expected to develop strong relationships with clients and take over the management of accounts and continue to meet their transportation needs. A graduate from the Universite de Sherbooke in Business Administration, with a specialization in Account Management, Pascale Simoneau began her career as a financial analyst at Barry Callebaut. From 2003 to 2009, she gained more experience in sales by occupying the positions of Business Development Representative for Embouteillage Coca-Cola and Principal Representative, Services and Solutions, for Xerox Canada. During this period, Ms. Simoneau also completed a specialized Graduate Degree at the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Project Management. With impressive sales results, Ms. Simoneau was able to join the ranks of Purolator as Account Executive and was Account Manager from 2013 to 2014 at Leyton Canada. Ms. Simoneau will also be assigned to the Montreal office.
