TTerremark Worldwide, a provider of managed IT infrastructure services,
announced that Nortel has selected Terremark to support the expansion
of its hosted communications solutions for carriers and enterprises.

Terremark will provide datacenter space and managed services to help
Nortel increase its hosted solutions infrastructure beyond existing
capacity under a non-exclusive agreement. The companies also plan to
explore other options, including additional Terremark datacenter
locations worldwide.

Terremark s industry-renowned datacenter infrastructure and access to
the world s leading carriers are important differentiators for us, said
Dean Fernandes, general manager, Network Application Services, Nortel.
Terremark has a global footprint that aligns nicely with our expansion
plans and shares our dedication to providing customers reliable,
high-quality service.

Nortel Hosted Solutions provide carriers and enterprises advanced IP
telephony, unified communications, automatic call distribution (ACD),
contact centers and other network application services with enhanced
network management capabilities and protection from such security
threats as hacker intrusions, worms, denial of service attacks, and
identity theft.

Nortel is making a significant investment in its Hosted Solutions, and
its choice of Terremark speaks to the increasing market demand for our
end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions, said Barry Field, Senior Vice
President of U.S. Commercial Sales for Terremark Worldwide, Inc. We
look forward to working with Nortel to meet the evolving IT
infrastructure needs of both companies customers for years to come.
